For a museum that is not in a major city, I was impressed by how this museum works to teach the principles of physics to children (and even some adults). The Lego model of the Amoskeag mills is impressive.

It took a few minutes to get the hang of the various exhibits, but once you realize that you're the one in control, to do the "experiments" as you wish, they you get it. There are soooo many things to do and try and see in this science center. The kids loved the variety. In the middle of the downstairs... More

Great for younger kids. One tip: Buy the family membership. It's good at other similar types of facilities in the region.

Been here several times with 5,3, and 2 year old. Very good hands on learning museum. Many interactive things for the children, end up spend about 4 hours each time. The Lego city is cool, but adults like it better than the kids. The ball race is the favorite.

We took a 5 and 7 year old here and they loved it! During our 2 hours there the staff did 2 interactive presentations that the kids learned from and enjoyed. The LEGO city was a hit~ the kids went back to view it and see different parts a few times. The staff was friendly and the parking was both... More

Got a free pass from our local library. Kids ranged from age 4 to 14, had fun. Very crowded and busy. Wouldn't have paid full price, but it was a good way to spend a winter day. Parking is convenient.

Kids running the camp program were on their phones constantly. The center itself was quite interesting but i as a business owner would overhaul the staff.
