Fun place for kids

Many live demonstrations. A lot to see. Often have special shows. Kids can run around and have fun. Very hands on museum.

Took my 2 young grandsons, they loved it. Especially the light room. The lego city was very impressive. This place is not big which is great for families with small children. It is not overwhelming. We have gone on several occasions and they still ask me to take them. I especially love when they have the dinosaur exhibit.

So much to do here! Walk on the moon, blow the biggest bubble of your life, play with a plasma ball, spin out of control, fire an air canon, dig for dinosaur bones, or tour the Millyard or olden days (made completely of Legos). Bring the kids! Inexpensive, fun, educational, and worth the trip!

I brought my nephews here a while ago. Great Place, even for adults! The tickets are a little more expensive than I wished. Not sure if much has changed since I've been there a few years ago- November 2013.

I wish the person at admissions would have told us that the price drops to $5 at 2 p.m. BEFORE he handed us our regular priced tickets. We told him we were only interested in seeing the Lego display since we didn't have any children with us, and we even questioned whether it would be worth it. Once we bought... More

For a museum that is not in a major city, I was impressed by how this museum works to teach the principles of physics to children (and even some adults). The Lego model of the Amoskeag mills is impressive.

It took a few minutes to get the hang of the various exhibits, but once you realize that you're the one in control, to do the "experiments" as you wish, they you get it. There are soooo many things to do and try and see in this science center. The kids loved the variety. In the middle of the downstairs... More

Great for younger kids. One tip: Buy the family membership. It's good at other similar types of facilities in the region.
