We were pleasantly surprised at what we say and explored. The Grounds Keeper was so very helpful in explaining so much. We enjoyed talking to him and get more information about other places to see. Now it is located on a U.S. Coast Guard Station...More

The first armed conflict of the American Revolution was fought here. Not much to really see but nice to be in such a historical place. Worth a quick stop and also to climb up the lighthouse

If you love forts, this one is interesting as the second system fort is still "inside" the incomplete third system fort. It was not completed. Very little signage and limited places to explore.

We first saw Fort Constitution from the water on a harbor cruise and thought it would be a good place to visit to find out more about the site. Wrong. It is rather intimidating to have to walk on the blue line to access the...More

A little bit of history on military grounds -- free to visitors --- follow the blue line to get to the actual site --- short and interesting boards on the history of the site
