This is unlike any other place on earth. The terrain, the weather, the view was all outstanding. It is well worth the cost of driving up the auto road to reach the summit.

With any visit to New England this is a must. Only road to the top of a mountain that is easy accessible would be in Lake Placid. Make sure it is a clear day or don'g go.

A small, interactive museum that is appropriate for all ages. Fun to experience what it is like atop the "rockpile'. Kids loved doing their own weather forecast on the green screen. free for members but a real value for anyone.

The drive up Mount Washington was worth the three-hour drive to get there from Massachusetts. People have the option of driving up or taking the the train from North Conway. Driving up is an absolute knuckle biter. If you have an issue with heights, it's...More
