Facsinating!

Nice little gift shop and a fascinating little "museum" with astounding information about what goes on at the summit and what those folks do up there!

Great place to bring kids and they can learn about the ever changing, fast changing weather in the area, especially on Mount Washington. Lots to take in and look at for a small place, lots of information to educate kids with.

A great stop for parents to take kids to learn about weather - especially on top of Mount Washington. Several hands-on activities offered. Minimal entrance fee of $2 for adults.

We rode the Cog Railway system to the top and it was a remarkable ride with great views of the mountain scenery. The history of the construction is interesting as was the data collected at the top. I would do this ride again and I would recommend you to not shy away from this.

We had unusually good weather for mount Washington, which really made the day. Hiked up tuckerman's and down lions head for some unbelievable views. Stop at the weather observatory for a quick tour and picture stop. Made some friends along the trail and ended up eating lunch with them up top. Everyone was very friendly and the hiking community in... More

Last time I was here was 3 years ago prior to Seek The Peek. I enjoyed my visit and so did my husband, who has never been here.

A fun free stop in the village that lets you talk to observers on the rock pile 2x a day! Fun, science-based things to do that help you understand weather!

This was by far one of the highlights of our trip. We decided to drive up the mountain ourselves. This is not dangerous or anything. If you have driven in mountain/hilly area before you are good to go. If you are afraid of heights this might not be your thing. I loved the views and the change of the vegetation... More
