The adjacent Japanese Garden is a small shaded respite from the bright sun that drenches the rose gardens. Don't forget to check out the dahlias too! They are... More

If you love flowers, especially roses, this lovely garden estate is the perfect place to visit on New Hampshire's fine sea coast. Just a block back from the Atlantic Ocean, on Willow Avenue off Route 1A, the estate was built as a summer home for a Governor of Massachusetts, Alvan T. Fuller, who hired the Olmsted Brothers to create a... More

Very nice gardens. A large variety of roses, dahlias and tropical plants. Very well maintained. Beautiful place to visit if the roses are in bloom.

Although I've not had the opportunity to see other "gardens", this was much less than I expected. The roses were beautiful and some were in bloom. The green house was great. I thought the price was a little steep, but I have nothing to compare it to. I visited the American Independence Museum (loaded with artifacts & history) and it... More

Hi Beth, Thank you for stopping by and we are happy to hear you enjoyed the blooms. The visiting experience is most dramatic when the roses are in full bloom and it sounds like you caught us in between cycles. Fuller Gardens is a small estate garden. We are a nonprofit organization and we do the best we can to... More

I was really disappointed in these gardens. There were some pretty roses, but overall, there was not much to look at, and some areas appeared to be in need of attention. I have seen a lot better in other parts of the US. Just wasn't what I expected after reading the other reviews.

The Fuller Garden is just north of Hampton Beach. It is not huge but if you appreciate fine roses and a majestic setting overlooking the ocean then do stop and take the time to smell the roses. Impeccably maintained easy walking and a small fee for entry. Worth the stop especially if the roses are in bloom.

Easily forget time & the outside world taking a stroll through the spectacular tranquil gardens or find yourself a peaceful place to sit to quietly reflect among the color splash of flowers.

My sister and I visit Fuller Gardens at least two to three times a year. We always come down for their plant sale and we attend their Garden Party in July. The party is lovely, music, drinks and snacks as you wander around the beautiful grounds. Take time to stop and smell the roses, literally! On my bucket list for... More

We went for the colorful rose garden, as beautiful as many botanical gardens, and better than many, but were equally delighted by the contrast of the Japanese garden's quiet beauty and tranquility. Garden Director Jamie Colen and his staff tend the gardens constantly with only hand tools, and even the grass paths appear immaculate as they would have for the... More
