When we travel my husband always checks out what is going on locally and he found out a Pink Floyd tribute band was playing at the Flying Monkey so he bought tickets. It is a grand old theater; so many of these beautiful venues have been torn down so we were delighted to see such an active presence there. We were only disappointed that we weren't there a week later so we could see Al DiMeola, But The Machine put on an awesome show and we had a great time. We had a table, and the bar service was friendly and attentive.

Attend the North Woods Law event here. It was my first time at the Flying Monkey. It’s a very nice place with great seating. A cool experience in an old theater.

Had never been before and attended the Northwoods Law Season Preview, Q&A, Meet Greet. Great layout and acoustics. Smaller venue so events feel more personal. Alot of helpful staff and seating options.

This place has movies and live entertainment. The movies are independent and usually good. The live entertainment generally includes previously famous bands or artists and is not too expensive.

Attended a dinner/concert event. Food was fantastic. Seating arrangements not so much--very tight space with attendees standing against wall or placing their chairs there so very difficult to get out to take a restroom break. Would hate to have to get out in a hurry.

We came across this place by accident, but I’m really glad we did. We were interested in going to a dinner show, but were unfamiliar with the theater and unsure about what tickets to buy online. The box office was amazingly helpful so we could make the right choice of seats for us. This small venue is a gem! Beautiful historic building, good food, great service, and a decent show. My only complaint is that the staff was not more attentive in encouraging audience members to be quiet and stay off of their phones. There were couples behind us and in the section near us to the side that didn’t stop chatting the whole show. It was a comedy show, so we missed some of the jokes because of the noise.
The theater also shows movies. If you are in Plymouth, don’t miss stopping by here.

We've seen many great shows over the last few years. Always good seats and easy to get. On the downside, the online ticket sales site isn't the best particularly since you pay a big fee to use it. I don't think we'll go to another show in the summer until they get some A/C working.

Been to many shows and movies at the Monkey. They offer an eclectic set of shows from Mike Girard to Hot Tuna to That Physics Show. There is always something fun to look forward to. You can sit at tables with wait service and get good food before the show or sit in stadium seating and get your own beverages. The service has always been friendly. And the Manager is very responsive.
Once we had an issue with a very talkative and loud crowd behind us. Mentioned it to the server, a minute later the manager was there. Not only did he apologize, but he found us other seats - and they were better than the ones we had purchased. He stopped by again during the break to make sure we were OK. That's above and beyond service in my book!

Cool little theater. Awesome staff. Great show by Paula. Best part was the local flavor of the audience.

Hi- am wondering if you know anything about the balcony seats at the Flying Monkey. Can't seem to find any pictures so am wondering if it is similar to the tables downstairs in which you kind of are not facing the stage and maybe a little cramped? Is there a separate bar upstairs. Thanks for any insight you can provide and no problem if not.

If I remember correctly, there are two rows of tables, one of 4-tops and one of 2-tops and they are tight. Dinner is served at all tables upstairs, and there is table bar service.

Where do you park? Is metered parking thru evening? How much do you put in meter for time spent at venue? Do you have to keep checking?

There is parking behind the building, behind Main Street, you just walk up an alley to the street level and the venue. We went to see John Hiatt(who ws awesome) and his tour bus was parked back there oo so we hung around for autographs and to meet the band after the concert- pretty fun!
