Just visited this gem for the first time to see The Mavericks. We were in the balcony and had a long walk up, but the place is beautiful, the volunteer ushers were very friendly, there was a place to dance, and best of all, the...More

This is a really great venue, terrific sight lines, nice sound, friendly assistance, and ticket prices that are not out of this world. Pink Martini is a large band, great instrumentalists, China Forbes super vocalist. Lots of energy perfectly matched with this venue. Bravo!!

Visited the Music Hall to see the "CatVideoFest". What a fine night of laughs for this annual event. Great fund raiser in a very interesting location. We got there a little early and took front row balcony seats but the views are good pretty much...More

Live music? How about Pat Benatar or Guster? Well-known author? Try Diane Rehm. Comedian? Bob Newhart gave a show. Ballet? Yes, the Russian Ballet. Whatever you like, you can find it here. Small, intimate theater built around 1875. Does have an elevator from the street...More

Our visit to the Music Hall was a good one. The limited capacity and intimate seating, along with the history made the venue a pleasant experience. Staff were friendly, and accommodating. Views are good from nearly every seat. That said, we saw a nationally known...More

I would highly recommend this theatre. If nothing else, just walk into the lobby area and the ladies restroom, which we were told received an award in America's Best Restroom Hall of Fame. We saw a wonderful performance of Beauty and the Beast. The seats...More

What a gem. This was my first visit and it was a delight. This is such a lovely and intimate theater. We saw Beauty and the Beast. It was excellent. I've already bought a ticket for another show.

I went to see the opener of the symphony on a Sunday afternoon. The lobby is very cool, and has a good atmosphere. Sound inside the theater was very nice, seating was comfortable for an old space. I'll definitely be back.

The Music Hall and the Loft are about a 1 min walk from one another. The Loft is on Congress St. between The Friendly Toast and the Health Food Store. Each theater has a movie screen.

The District or the Library are the nearest, and there are 100 restaurants within a few block radius. There's Jumpin' Jays Fish Cafe, Rudi's , and Radici all within a block.
