We visited in the cold month of December and were not disappointed! We met some local Bird Watchers who shared a wonderful experience of the natural habitat with us.

There are lots of steps, however, there are several spots where you can stop and rest. I recommend going early in the day before it gets busy.

Saw the lighthouse - Hawk counters were there and saw several birds! Saw more tree birds, including mockingbirds (which we don't have back West) and then there's the visitor center.

The lighthouse is worth a stop if you are in Cape May. Even if you are not really a fan of them it's still a nice view. You can walk up the 199 steps to the top if you choose!

Was amazing views after climbing the 199 steps! Would recommend it highly! The steps up the top are very neat to look down through.

This lighthouse was a great climb. The view from up top was beautiful. There's a small museum that's pretty cool .
