Nice mix of things too do - history - hiking - lighthouse - nature center - or just sitting on beach. I like the WWII Gun Emplacements and associated history.

There was a group from the Nature Conservancy at the pavilion overlooking the wetlands. Photographers were setting up to take shots of the magnificent birds in the area. We went on a walk on one of the marked trails. It was quite delightful with a raised plank walkway going through wooded area opening to wetland lakes and grassy fields.

Our favorite part of this park are the 3 trails, mostly boardwalk, to the left of the bird observation platform. They take you through the marsh to the shore and vary from 1/2 mile, just over 1 mile and 2 miles. So much wildlife to see. Perfect when you want a nice walk but don't want to take all day... More

Lots of parking and easy access make this a nice beach to visit. We were ther in September on a weekday so the crowds were light. Wide sandy beach with a few interesting sights to see

This refuge had well-cared-for walking paths through gorgeous fields and meadows and around fresh water lakes and ponds populated by swans and geese. As it was a rainy day, we had hundreds of acres to ourselves pretty much so the peace was palpable.

We drove here for the lighthouse. We so wish we had known that it was in a really cool little state park. There were some trails that we would have added to our day. As it was we did explore the park a bit. The beach is a good one (no swimming apparently) and the WWII bunker is fascinating.

My sisters and I went to the park to walk the trails and participate in the Monarch tagging class. It was an excellent presentation by very knowledgeable naturalists and volunteers. Their enthusiasm was contagious ! This is a must do when you are in Cape May in Septenber!

Always a highlight of our Cape May visit. The nature trails are beautiful and are great for seeing native plants, birds and butterflies. It is so great that these trails are completely accessible to wheelchairs and there is a short trail that is great for people like me that can't take a traditional hike. It is so nice to see... Well maintained nature trails wind through the salt ponds and marshes of Cape May Point. The fall can bring lots of migratory birds and monarch butterflies to the area. The beach is often not very crowded since there is no swimming allowed there, but a great place to take a stroll. Just about every time I have been there over... More

This was a nice park with a lovely lake with many birds , a lighthouse , raised walking paths , walking and jogging trails , bicycling trails and a lighthouse to climb up to if you can handle 200 steps .You overlook the ocean and can take in the flora and fauna of the seashore.
