If you like apples and want to pick your own then this is one of farms to visit. We went there during the week to avoid the weekend mob and mainly stopped by the barn/store to check out their apple cider. The cider I saw for sell had a different name on the label other than Riamede Farm so I... More

we have been apple picking nine years in a row now at five or six different farms in nj and i think this one has consistently been the best. the lines are never long. there is always adjacent parking (which is often not the case at other farms) and they always have apples left on the trees when we go,... This is the most organized attraction I have ever seen Apple rows and trees clearly marked-go early as to beat the traffic on rte 206 Little pricy but worth it

Love love love going every year to go Apple picking. I am a nanny. I love the fact that you can walk to the trees and not have to take a hayride. It's hard to do with a toddler and infant twins...great Apples also!!! Can't wait to go this year with a 3 year old and 1 year old...took them... More

We go here every year to get our fall apples, pumpkins and sunflowers. There is always a large selection and the apples taste great!

great apples...great cider and pies.....and a tiny bit off the beaten path. This is a hidden gem and they have many varieties of apples you can pick. Can get a bit busy near mid october so if you want really good apples, come a bit early.

This is a town with a number of orchards in the area, so it is hard to know where to go. When I moved to Morris County I decided to try as many as I could. This was an enjoyable day with good apple picking.

Bags of Fun! Never been apple picking before and had a blast. $2 entry very reasonable, then $1.99 LB for apples. You can eat for free when picking them so try the different varieties. The orchards are cool and the views of fall foliage are lovely. We had the cider hot dogs and hot apple cider to drink, that did... More

After years of visiting the farms in Warwick, we decided to check out the farms in Chester for our apple and pumpkin picking. Alstede was the place lots of folks recommended, but I was completely turned off by the who carnival atmosphere of it. Going out to the orchard should be enough for our kids. And it was! Our 7... Although the prices are higher than in the markets, the apples are fresh off the trees and DELICIOUS. Trees are well marked and maps available. Call ahead to see what is available for picking. This year apples were within reach as pickers are hard to find. Wagons are available. Bring your own bags for pcking, or purchase ones there. The... More
