The PPZ has been a local attraction since I was a child and has grown and evolved since then. It's much cleaner and has a lot better facilities then 30 years ago when I remember feeding popcorn to disfigured goats and lame geese. Plus the staff does such great work with the ASPCA ok the area it's a pleasure to... More

This was a blast. Peacocks, geese and ducks roam freely and try and take all your food. Our 5 year old wasn't thrilled with this and was a little scared, the 2 year old thought it was awesome. The two 30 somethings that this was a blast. There was a bear who catches the food as you throw it and... More

Popcorn park zoo has been a staple for anyone who lives in NJ and it is always a great family oriented place to visit regardless of season. The kids love it and the animals are well cared for. They also have great animals for adoption and this should be your first place to visit if considering adoption.

I can totally understand how this place could have mixed reviews. I think this place is a cute little zoo that has an awesome strategy and frankly shouldn't be missed. Upon arrival with my boyfriend, we discovered the zoo is connected to a shelter that houses cats and dogs, inside the shelter you purchase your zoo ticket and are offered... More

My Oma has worked here since I was a kid and it's a wonderful place. On top of the zoo structure they also have the kennel where you can adopt fur babies.

My son is an animal lover and someone told me about the Popcorn Zoo. We loved it! Walked around reading all the stories about how they came to the zoo. Some stories were so sad, but you could see they were happy now. What a wonderful haven for for them. Sat on the benches and watched them do their thing,... More

I have mixed feelings about zoos, but I wanted to take my grandchildren here because it is a rescue facility. The animals seem well cared for, and the kids loved walking around and feeding popcorn to the animals. The only negative - the porta potties were very dirty.

I love the fact that the Popcorn Zoo stepped in to rescue animals that had absolutely nowhere to go but here. This was the end of the road for many animals and Im ever so grateful that you rescuedthem and took care of them. However, every time I come hete to visit it breaks myheart to see lions and tigers...
