Beautiful, relaxing, quiet get away spot. There is something to be said about Jersey and the beautiful parks, reservoirs, acres and acres of trees and paths you can enjoy anytime of the year. Manasquan Reservoir is definitely my go to place for my weekly exercise, walking my pup and in general getting "lost" in my thoughts while I sit on... More

We often go here to hike. It's a 5 mile walk and I often see families walking, running and riding their bikes. I brought my dog here and she loved it as well. It's so close to home and there's lots of parking available.

It's very big grounds for biking and hiking into the woods around the reservoir. They need to have bike rentals. A beach sandy area to be able to go into the water would be nice also. Been here many times walking the dog. Nice place for family.

The loop around the reservoir is a bit more than 5 miles, but there's no need to complete the loop if you'd like a shorter walk. While the terrain doesn't vary much, it's a pleasant hike on a level and well-maintained path. Plus, an added attraction at the moment, there's an eagle nest visible from several vantage points. A few... More

I have a converted English racer - the tires are not super fat - They are 700 cc or 26 inch and they did just fine. A lot of paved roads and some gravel and cedar but no problem. It was fall and it was little crowded but the scenery was great and I totally recommend it for a casual... More

This place grabs your interest as soon as you walk up the path towards the main building. There are two nice ponds on either side of the walk with frogs, turtles an fish. Inside greets you with lots of nice informative exhibits about the reservior and it's inhabitants. Places to crawl and explore for the kids and enough cool stuff... More

This is a magnificent outdoor activity center. 5 mile hiking or biking trail. Rent kayaks. A very beautiful getaway. In the winter they have a roaring fireplace with an area to have a picnic. Eat right along the water.
