We recently went on a trip to Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty/Crown with 15 family members. The location of Statue Cruises was easy to find and while parking is available there is a small fee and the lots were crowded. We had to walk...More

Hi all, You have a number of choices when you book the tour. However at the minimum you have an audio tour of both sites included in your package.

Great experience with statue cruises. We enjoyed Ellis Island, a little less crowded than liberty island, but lots to see and you can feel the history around you. Liberty island was neat, great to see the statue up close, but oh so hot and crowded...More

We were staying for a week in Seaside Heights NJ and knew we'd need a couple of day trips to break up our days at the beach. Someone recommended visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. At first we were nervous thinking we'd need...More

Felt like cattle being headed on and off the boat and the attraction. Very crowded and poor organization. Food at cafeteria was overpriced.

Statue Cruises is THE exclusive ferry to visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, BUT it's NOT listed high or at all when doing a Google search...tricky! $18 adult and $9 child are the ferry fees - that's it. Same price if you want...More

My husband and I took our two children (ages 5 and 2 1/2) on this cruise, and it couldn't have been easier. There was plenty of parking, the boats were timely, and there was a lot to do at both Ellis Island and the Statue...More

Bought our tickets online with pedestal access and drove to Liberty State Park in New Jersey to board the ferry. It was super easy to get to the parking lot, which was huge and a welcome relief. The price was great. The boats were great....More

I took the statue cruise to the Statue of Liberty from Liberty Park, NJ. I took the 9:00 AM one. If you don't mind walking about 0.5 miles, you can save $7.00 by parking in the Liberty State Park. It closes at 10:00 PM. So...More

Took the ferry two weeks ago. The time is the ferry ride from NJ. Arrive 30 mins early, park and walk 5 mins to center. Pickup tickets, better still print at home. Walk 10 mins to jetty and security lines. Short wait times... More

Hi, I am planning to take my daughter and granddaughter to the Statue of Liberty on Dec 4th and have a 1 PM reservation from Liberty Park, NJ which includes access to the crown. Questions: 1. What does the 1 pm reservation time refer to: e.g., the time that I need to be at the ferry box office to pick up my tickets or the time the ferry departs, or the time that the actual tour of the statue begins???? 2. What time should I plan to arrive at the ferry terminal to pick up my tickets? 2. Is all of the security screening and ticket pickup done at the ferry terminal? When I get to Liberty Island, is there a line to get into the statue? 3. Is there a place to eat lunch either in Liberty State Park, the ferry or Liberty Island? As you can see, I am very confused about the exact procedure, and the park and ferry websites are very vague.

1. One pm reservation time means the actual time that the ferry departs. 2. You need to arrive at the ferry terminal at least two hours before departure time because December time as a busy period despite cold winter... More
