This is a beautiful area it is like an outside corridor of blocks of stone with the names of the lost on 9/11. When you look down the corridor you can see where the twin towers stood and where the space is now sadly they have gone. It's a very sad memorial and people with children should try to keep... More

We stopped by and visited this site and I was impressed. What a great way to honor those. The design was very smart to reflect the missing towers.

I visited the One Observatory with my sister, the view is awesome. The tragedy that occurred there can still be sensed in the air.. there is a view of the base of the two older towers. The elevator shows the history of new York in a very graphic way. The images start when that area was used for cattle and... More

You've probably heard of the famous 9/11 memorial in NYC. This one goes almost unnoticed. It's low-key, but powerful. You're standing directly across the Hudson R from where the twin towers used to be, with the names of all the victims engraved in two parallel walls behind you, or on either side of you, depending on where you're standing. You... More

A fitting reminder for that awful day when many people where murdered. The water falls are calming giving a chance for reflection

This is a fantastic tribute to those fallen in 9/11 across the river. Liberty Park is a wonderful place to visit ... you can walk for miles with some of the most beautiful views.

Very powerful and moving composition. We visited it in the winter morning with almost no tourists. It puts you visually into perspective.

This memorial has names of victims of 9/11 bombing of towers of NYC, which brings grim memories. However, this place also presents a great opportunity for photographers to take classic shots.
