Worth the visit

Very nice science center. I took my both kids - 9 and 12. I think it's perfect age. Family membership is worth buying if you consider to come more than once.

We did not go through any groupon.. but still worth the $. Took the general admission ticket and then post the trip upgraded to annual membership. We spent 2 hrs but couldn't explore more than 20% of the place; the Lil one refused to get out of the infinity ladder and all the other cool exhibitions on the 3rd floor.... More

Great place to visit especially if you have school age children. Since it was cold and snowing we were looking for an indoor activity. It turned out to be a great day with interesting exhibits. You can spend an hour or all day there.

On a rainy and windy day we decided to revisit Liberty Science Center (after 12 years) with our 14-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter. We opted for the most expensive ticket, with access to the iMax Dome Movie Theater and the temporary exhibition on the top floor. Both kids were excited and found relevant things to do and see. The girl... More

We love LSC. My kids have been coming here since they were little. Great for all ages. There are so many different things to see and do. Can spend all day here, burning all the energy up!!

I would argue that LSC would give some of the Smithsonian's a run for their money in as far as kid-friendly interactive displays go. Easily accessible by light rail (8th St line) and a short walk. You could reasonably burn up a day here taking in the exhibits and the IMAX Dome is awesome. BYO food though. The cafe is... More

Went with 4 young kids, their parents and their grandparents. Was great fun for all ages. We spent 6 hours here and did almost everything and ate lunch there. The kids want to go back already and we only just left.

While there are many things to see, the kids have a real blast here! Lots to see and do ... a lunch to be had, and if you ever have the chance to do the overnight with a group, that's great fun too.

Great place to take young ones and learn. A few of the exhibits in the curious George exhibit were not working which was quite disappointing.
