This park is a part of County Park system. The focus point of this park is the lake. It seems to be open for fishermen. Playground and picnic area are dominated by families with kids. Walking trails are very easy, well maintained and simple. Community events on most weekends.

Toilet paper almost empty except for one stall. Geese love to poop in this late so be advised of bacterial issues.

Nice small lake to take a short walk, playground for kids and has many festivals during the year. Small beach and picnic area and can canoe and kayak there.

Because I live in the area it has taken me a while to take advantage of all this park offers. At first it was a nice place to let the kids play on the playground and run around. Years later it was a nice place to meet a friend and sit by the lake. Now a days it is even better with local activities that have involved picnics and swimming! The walk around the lake is lovely. There is always a nice breeze. I actually like being able to just stop by and walk around when ever!

So clean and enjoyable! Visited here for many a fun festival! The view of the lake is beautiful. Walk over the little bridge to see the waterfalls.

Visited last weekend with my boyfriend for the Manahopkin beer fest. This was our first time here and it was a clean scenic location. We had a blast at the beer fest and enjoyed being lake front while doing so. Be sure to check out the turtles under the bridge next to the lake :)

We’ve been to the lake park many times. But before going there had driven right by it dozens and dozens of times nor realizing how nice it actually was
The Lake Park has a decent sized beach with restroom facilities. There is also a walking path partway around the lake with some trees and benched here and there to rest or cool off.
Theres a small bridge to cross where the water leaves the lake into a stream. Lat time we were there saw a family of turtles sunning themselves on a small log along the water.
This location has become a frequent spot for us to enjoy the sun dip swim in the lake (in season swimming area protected with lifeguards)
Its close to pretty much any type of food you’d want to take to the lake. There are picnic benchs in a well shaded area right by the water. It rarely gets overcrowded. A nice little gem of a spot close to LBI but without the crowds parking issues in season on weekends especially.
Give it a try for a couple of hours, the water is cool refreshing and very clean. I’ll bet you’ll be back there again and again 😎

This is part of two parks that are connected. One side is he Paul king county park and the other side is Stafford Township Park. Both areas have parking. During the summer there is a lifeguard at the lake in the county park side. Off to the side in the county park area is a playground and picnic table area under trees. You can also find benches, a gazebo and playground on the Stafford side. The two parks are connected by a bridge over the dam- you wouldn’t know they are two separate parks otherwise. We originally went to fish out of the lake on the beach side but were unsuccessful. The day we went was too windy. It’s a nice park with a sandy beach on one side and green grass on the other. Many of the town festivals are held here. Both sides are well maintained and clean.
