We aren't birders but who wouldn't want to see American Bald Eagles and osprey? It was a wonderful trip with a knowledgable captain as well as a naturalist. The captain made sure all sides of the boat had good views of the eagles and their nests. We saw many eagles and osprey as well as some other birds. It was... More

This excursion is a very pleasant way to enjoy the Maurice River. The captain and crew are knowledgeable and make sure to point out interesting birds and other wildlife, and the views are beautiful. The trip is relaxing and totally enjoyable.

Cruising down the Maurice River on a sunset sailing is a genuine pleasure. Does life get any better than watching ospreys and bald eagles soar above with a glass of wine (BYOB) in hand. Don't forget your cameras. After docking a lovely dinner at Andrea's restaurant is in order.

I've lived in Millville for 13 years and passed the dock thousands of time never thinking of taking the cruise. We finally woke up and tried it and what a great evening. We took the sunset cruise and packed some cheese, crackers, fruit and wine. Captain Dave is a wealth of local history along the river and made it very... More

Excellent two hour ride on the Maurice River with Capt Dave Scherer. His narration on the trip down is one of the best in Cumberland County. Leave from the beautiful city dock with parking, Coast Guard approved for 18 passengers, handicapped accessible with large restroom, roof - all trips see Eagles, good for camera - scenic river rich in history.... Captain Dave and his intrepid First Mate made this cruise along the Maurice River all the more delightful. This reviewer was overwhelmed by the amount of wildlife, pristine wetlands and marshes in this South Jersey watershed. Ospreys, bald eagles, and other fauna were all the more spectacular in their natural habitat viewed from the river.

This was a great time. It is an excellent way to view the Maurice River. We saw the eagles and the beauty of the natural pristine environment of the river. The cruse was nice to have our close friends and good food we brought to socialize and spend a evening on the wild and scenic Maurice River.

The best wildlife cruise I've been on! I saw eagles, muskrats, osprey (so many I stopped counting) and more. Even without the wildlife I would still have loved the relaxing scenic cruise.

I was a little nervous going on this 2 hour ride, I'm not crazy about boats. But my neighbors talked me into it. I'm very happy I went. We saw Eagles in their nest, Ospreys & many other beautiful birds. Captain Dave is an excellent guide, giving history of the many sites. I would highly recommend this trip. They also... More
