I went there recently on a invitation to my friend's son exhibit along with other local artists. It was a very lovely evening at a very elegant venue. There was a quartet of string musicians playing and a bar offering cocktails and wine.

Much more than you would expect for most towns, but not Montclair. The art community and it's supporters is far reaching and very creative and accomplished.
