I visited this library to do some research for my book . It was black history month and the exhibits were valuable . What really attracted me was the old architecture of the building and it's modern day technology use . Staff very helpful .

A valuable resource especially for the history of Newark and African American History. The interior is embellished with beautiful wall decor in a space that is ample, quiet and conducive to reading. Speeches and exhibits are frequent at this site.
