We go to the 15th street beach as the lifeguard stand is there along with bathrooms with running water. The city does a great job of keeping the beach super clean, there are trash cans and recycle bins and EVERYONE must contribute and use them!...More

We look forward to coming here every summer. So worth the wait. Never overcrowded. It's a clean beach with bathrooms near by. If you forget your umbrella or chairs, you can always rent one! No lugging for me!

We stayed close to the beach so parking does not apply but i saw a few public lots. The beach was nice and lifeguards were very engaged.

It is one of the few beaches that is still free and it is clean and not overly crowded. The beaches are not super big in that you are not walking a mile to get to the water. As you get to Wildwood beach, the...More

The North Wildwood beach is very clean, spacious, peaceful, and beautiful. Picked up a few seashells and was lucky enough to find a piece of coral as well!

Enjoyed the free Wildwood beach in North Wildwood. Also rode the tram car one evening. Walks on the beach were lovely!

Beach is no where near as wide as Wildwood proper. Getting to and from the water's edge is so much easier

We have been going to Wildwood beaches for years. The area that we were at was quite and clean. Really had a lot of fun.

I would agree that most are across the street. You can go to the wildwoodsnj website and view the map of many of the hotels as well as the visitors guide which could help. Entering North Wildwood and oceanfront, though, only... More

There is a motel on 18th called the Sahara which is very nice and newly remodeled. It is on the boardwalk and had wood planks the beach. Very nice location

I have only been to Wildwood once and it was almost 20 years ago. I am looking for a rental in North Wildwood to stay with family and would like to stay a little way from the amusement piers but still be able to easily access the boardwalk. Our children are high school/college-aged and there is also a 10 year-old. I have found some beautiful places to rent that are in the last couple of streets in North Wildwood, on the Hereford Inlet but am not sure if the beach this far down is as nice and sandy as it is a little further down. My husband and my boys have always liked to play marathon wiffle ball games on the beach so it would be nice to have room to play behind the sunbathers. Any recommendations about the area would be helpful. We stayed in the south end of Ocean City a couple of summers ago and loved the peace and quiet. The boardwalk in Ocean City was lovely but the rides were a little too tame for the kids.

I'm not too familiar with north Wildwoods beach but I can assure you that beach is one of the longest an most beautiful beaches left in the area. I can't imagine that where your rental is would be any different. When I go... More
