This place is a little oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle that surrounds it. Birds chirping everywhere. We even saw a fox running into the woods. It is a flat easy walk for anyone to take.

I stayed in Secaucus, one of the hotels at the Meadowlands Plaza, and found this walk a peaceful distraction. The trail surface looks like coarse sand and is pleasant to walk on. I was hoping for some interesting animal to dart across the trail, but all I've seen was ducks and teals of all sorts. Still, a pleasure to visit.

We have been enjoying Mill Creek’s Secaucus Greenway for years. Hiking there has allowed us to keep our sanity while walking or jogging in this unhurried environment along the banks of Hackensack River, in a setting so rare and precious, as it is in the midsts of urban frenzy all around it. A breath of fresh air, a place to recover and reflect. The town of Secaucus keeps improving it as time goes by so this is a treat. Great for friends or family gatherings too, as it features several playgrounds and lively picnic areas!

This multi looped level walking/running path gives a unique experience into the history of the area with its cemetery of American cypress stumps as well as the current tenants of the marsh. Well kept and informative. Suspect the success is due to volunteers but regardless, it is a great place to visit for whatever reason

The place is very serene and beautiful. I always go here to unwind whenever I am stressed out. It is tranquil and the air is very fresh.Great place for walks. The spring, summer and fall offers ample opportunity to see a variety of migratory birds.Beautiful hidden spot in the Meadowlands. Wildlife, vegetation and marshs with trails to walk around in a peaceful environment. Entrance is hidden next to a shopping center. Very clean and well kept. Good for joggers and nature photography lovers.

This is one way to relax and enjoy nature. Have a breath of fresh air and enjoy trees in a marsh a few feet away from traffic and shopping.

There are days the best medicine for a whopper of a day at the office ... is a nice long walk. Very lucky to have this little oasis walking distance from where I work and do wish the locals would take more advantage of it. Situated on the Secaucus marshes, there are 2 trails rinning throught the park, the longer being a little over a mile and the shorter at half that length. The pebble covered earth is much kinder on the joints than pavement for runners and walkers alike.
There are some interesting plants and flowers about and plenty of marsh creatures. I often see people strolling with cameras at the ready for a good shot. I like best to come here early in the morning on a cooler day when only the regulars are about - the chairman of my company is an avid runner who will often do upwards of 8 rounds on the long trail for his morning constitutional. It's a great way to start at day.
To address the obvious - yes, it can be a bit ... aromatic? LOL as you're on top of a swamp but I find one gets used to the smell quite quickly and most people who come regularly even come to enjoy the smell. I actually think the sulfuric air helps me with my sinuses at times.
Secaucus does a great job taking care of this little gem tucked away on the side of Bob's. It's open daily between sunrise and sunset and I have seen beautiful examples of both while enjoying the trails

This is such a nice place for a nice quiet walk. We bring our dog here once a week and he loves sniffing all the rocks and trees. There is no off leash area, and no baggies so be prepared to keep your dog on a leash and to bring your own clean up bags.
You have a few options for the walk depending on which groomed path you take. To walk the entire circumference is about an hour, and it's all level. Bring binocs if you're into bird watching, as there's lots of stuff to see.
Park near the furniture pick up at Bobs Furniture.
