This is a nice park with a beautiful rose garden, a perennial garden and an arboretum. There is also a play ground, ponds and walking paths as well as a number of parking lots. Even when the park is busy it is large enough that it never feels crowded.

The park is spectacular, the rose garden is an award winning attraction and is well maintained. There is a mini golf course and paddle boats as well.

I love Colonial Park especially the award winning rose garden. This park as so much going on every day. Great for a stroll, play with the kids or dog. And coming in the spring is a special treat with the lovely gardens.

I love to walk along the path, meant specifically for that purpose. This park has something for everyone or you can just sit, read or relax. The rose garden is at its peak in mid June. Don't miss it. The children's playground was renovated a few years ago. There are many beautiful trees to enjoy, some blossoming in the spring... More

Visited this scenic park in the month of June in the rose garden area. The roses were beautiful in their variety and their displays
