This is a relatively small church with just a few dozen pews. However, the architecture inside is beautiful inside and worth the visit. Most of the pews are closed off, but there are a few open for safe distancing. There is also a bottle of hand sanitizer available. During my visit, had the opportunity to hear the piano being played, then the organ.

I passed by Saint Catherine Catholic Church in May. The church was closed on the day I walked by so I just viewed it from the outside and took a photo. The lake near the church (Spring Lake) is beautiful and peaceful. I took a long walk there.

Late XIXth century Catholic Church inspired by Roman models.
Rather incongruous in Spring Lake.
Most striking feature is the carillon that can play tunes and also rings hourly

My sister got married at this beautiful Church. It really is one of the prettiest I've ever been in.
Unfortunately, the priest was a nasty man! He yelled at me twice for not holding her ring up correctly (we never went over this and I didn't know this was going to happen before hand). It was so disrespectful and embarrassing.
His behavior was very un-godly.
My friend's sister got married there, and he yelled at her for something as well.
I don't know if he just has issues with women or what his problem is, but I would never go back there.

Built by a Father in 1900 in his daughter's memory.
Very lovely and simple, nothing ornate.
Perfect setting.

Worthy of a short visit, if not a docent tour, this church, though small, is reminiscent of European cathedrals. Its history is provocative, too. You'll be taking photographs the second you enter.

We were there for a wedding. Had never been there before. The place is filled with paintings on the ceilings that were filled with color and were just stunning.
This is not a very big place. The dome on top, as you drive up, makes you think that this is larger than what it is. Pews were spaced well but the kneelers were a little cramped for a fairly big guy like me.
