Visited this beach in both July and August of this year and I'm a fan. Clean, quiet beach that's perfect for swimming, talking a long walk, or just relaxing in the sun. The cost was $6 per person for the day. There was an ice...More

Wonderful beach with plenty of room to walk, run or just hang out. Sad though you can't take your dog on the beach before/after the busy season.

We've been coming to Avalon/Stone Harbor for 30 years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. They do an excellent job of cleaning the beach every day and restoring it after major storms.

Stone Harbor is the best NJ beach by far. The beach is wide and clean. The sand texture is great. The water is shallow for a good distance which makes it fun for very young children. The combination of beautiful homes with perfect lawns and...More

If you are looking for a beach that is quieter than Ocean City but still has a lot to do this is a great option. Beach Tags are required but there is a lot of beach and places to park all your gear and hunker...More

Quiet, clean beach with lifeguards. Great for families! Alcohol is not allowed on the beach, so the atmosphere was tamer than some beaches.
