I brought my 9 and 11 year old boys for their first trail ride and we had a great time! The guide was very good making sure we were safe and comfortable with our horses. Also this was an actual trail and not just circles in a stable. If you are a more experienced rider they can accommodate you just... More

The team at Legends is lovely, as is the trail. I spent an hour just hearing the crush of my horse on the fall leaves. Truly beautiful. Will return!

Never really rode a horse before today. Well I did once , a long time ago in Brooklyn , and I can't really say it was fun. This past weekend we decided to go horseback riding at legends in Vernon nj. The trail guide was great. She made us feel comfortable in what we were doing and she entertained us... More

Been coming here for many years, whenever I am in the area. Guides are all really nice and knowledgable. One of the few places that will allow experienced riders do more then a walk/short trot. If you are experienced, there is a trail that leads by the side of a busy road with cars whizzing by-which horses HATE, so again,... More

A bit skeptical at first but everything and everyone working there was amazing. It's cheap the horse are well kept and beautiful. The guide for my experience was wonderful and gave me more then I would have expected. Definitely recommend people that love horse back riding and scenic views.

Two of us rode 3/12/16 at 4pm on a beautiful sunny day in the 60s. It was the last ride of the day. It was feeding time so they would only take us for 30 minute. 1 Hr is $50/ 30 min was $30. We were quickly put in the saddle and on our way. "Shorty" (horse #1) would barely... More

For a $50 per person there are some better places to spend. Sorry but horses were old and lazy. Was not even 1 hour as we were told the ride will be. This kind of horse riding is way overpriced. No senior discounts as well. Water park or ziplining (around the same $50) or hiking (Free) or kayaking ($20) way... More

This by far is the best place to go riding in NJ. The trail guides are very professional. The horses are safe, well cared for and the saddles/tack in great condition. I have been riding all my life and the trails are beautiful. Randy the owner is pleasant to speak with and will tell you like it is...a true Cowboy!!!... More

Visited there for a ride with my wife, intermediate but experienced riiders. Guide to us out through some very nice (after the 1st qrt mile) scenic woods. We were the only ones with her and got to canter a few times. Very nice and worth the $50 for about 1.5 hours. Our horses very well mannered, guide was very nice.

I'm a returning customer, I try going once a week with new people each time. I have to say I've been on many trail rides and this is the only one around here that offers a more experienced ride. Many places around here don't offer a walk/trot. Besides that, the horses are well behaved and love when you want to... More
