From the hotel to mid-town in just a few minutes. Caught the ferry just outside my hotel. Ferry is scheduled every 15 minutes.

Park in the deck for either a short or long term visit to New York City; walk across the street to catch the ferry to different locations on the island. Easy and reasonably priced!

Love taking the NY Waterway over to New York. They are quick and offer multiple locations. The drop off terminal is so close to other attractions.

Quick way to go from Weehawken NJ to NYC, and was a different view of the big Apple skyline close to Times square.

First visit to NYC. Ferry was convenient, staff on board were friendly, and transportation was quick. Also offered free shuttle busses on the NYC side that was very convenient. Ticket taker on 38th Street pier was unfriendly, but overall an excellent experience.

I have been taking the ferry for a number of years and they have proven to be consistent no matter the weather. They could afford to make the boats themselves a bit nicer inside, but the 39th St and Port Imperial terminals are both nice...More

I was staying at the hotel just across and it was very pratical!. Instead of taking you car to NY, take the ferry !

Perfect--take the 57th St bus during rush hour times and get off at Broadway. Or, if during the week or weekends, the 50/57th St bus goes up 6th Avenue and turns at 57th St. So take the 50/57th St bus and get off at 57th... More

Parking where? At the Sheraton in Weehawken it is $25/day, you can buy the ferry passes there.

You were trying to take the Weehawken ferry, not Port Imperial in Weehawken. Go north about a mile and there are two large parking decks with plenty of capacity. Better schedule for the ferries too (more frequent).
