Great Choice when you just need an escape

Not more than 6 minutes of a beautiful scenic route and the added value of the shuttles ready to take you where you are headed. Definitely a treat!

I use the ferry from Lincoln Harbor when I need to go to NYC. It is fast (5 mn ride) and easy. When you understand how the free ferry bus works (peak and off-peak hours), it rather easy to reach many places in Manhattan without paying any taxi or subway fare. The Waterways App is also one of the most... More

Unlike PATH and MTA where information is scarce when it comes to when your next ride will arrive or depart, the ferry has great information displays that let you know what to expect. The ride is fast, fun, scenic, and doesn't break the bank. A weekend ride from Jersey City to the WTC cost us only $4. I highly recommend... More

We were walking to the taxi and they saw us and another family and they left in less than 1 minute literally. The ride was good, and fast but if you are not in the gate when the taxi arrives have to wait another 20 minutes for the next one to come and don't you dare to move from the... More

This is a great way to get into the city from NJ and the employees are very friendly and work hard. They even remembered us after taking a few trips.

If you are visitng the city, this is a very convenient way to get there. We parked our car in their large covered parking garage. A short wak from the garage is the ticket area. There are restrooms and food areas there as well. The ferry ride is short and convenient. The price of the ticket includes the ferry bus... More

Read some negative reviews, but our experience was perfect, and I would highly recommend! Parking was in the new garage right across the street from the ferry terminal. Cost was $40 for two days - at our hotel, it would have been $100. But you do have to figure in the cost of the ferry - about $30 round trip... More

One of the lesser known modes of transportation in and out of Manhattan, the NY Waterway provides easy, timely and a scenic way to commute to work every day. A little expensive, but a great way to start and end your day.

We have taken the Staten Island Ferry before, but this trip was the first time we took The Weehawken Ferry. Great way to get into the city! PLUS, a free connecting bus! The ferry is on time and transits the Hudson River very quickly.. Makes it very easy to park outside of the city, but go in for business or... More

The ferry seems to be always on time. Makes it very easy to stay outside of the city, but go in business or pleasure to Manhattan. On the ferry you can stay inside or outside by your liking.
