We were hoping to visit the boardwalk insectarium, but they are "Permanently Closed" and have been since around 2012 according to their Facebook page. Their website is now a car navigation page for a Japanese company. However, their parent insectarium in Philadelphia, PA, is still open (Philadelphia Butterfly Pavilion and Insectarium at 8046 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia).

I was amazed with the species of insects and the facts about them that I didn't know! A pleasant attraction with interaction for anyone that wants to touch a... More

We were taken in by the guy with a huge snake standing in front of the insectarium on the boardwalk, and decided to go into the place on a whim. It was one of our smarter decisions. The place is very well-kept and clean. All of the animals - NOT all insects by any means! - were well cared for,... More

Morey has the best rides and the ocean view is breath taking. The boat house restaurant was a great place to have dinner watching the sun set over the bay.

Family friendly. We always see something new each year. Kids love it. Some hands on exhibits which the kids love.

Took the tram car down to the end of the boardwalk only to find the Insectarium gone. The hissing cockroach has passed on. Nothing to see here.

We just happened to find the Wildwood Insectarium while walking on the boardwalk. The kids wanted to go in and check it out, so we thought since it was something different to do, why not. I believe our tour guides name was Phillip. He was wonderful. He knew so much about each of the exhibits and was able to answer... More

Went with my daughter's family on a rainy day. My 10 year old grandson loved this place! And I think the adults learned a thing or two as well. The young man who led us through the exhibits was very knowledgeable. Would go back again!

My husband and daughter went in because it cost too much for the entire family, but they really enjoyed it and thought that their docent really knew his business.

At first I was a bit hesitant due to the price and size of the place. We still went ahead with it. It was a great experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, a biology major, she explained in detail about every species and answer all of the questions that we asked. My children handle some of the spiders, lizards,...
