I never tire of watching elephants at water holes. The babies keep me amused for hours with their antics.

We visited Addo Elephant Park on a Monday morning for just over two hours and saw at least 10 different types of wildlife and three of the big five - very surprised!

If you are passing through Port Elizabeth, make sure do a self drive through Addo National Park, it is a real gem and with a little luck you will see a lot of wild creatures! Thoroughly recommend it!

The knysna Elephant park is really for kids where you can get up close to the elephants and feed them, Addo is huge and has a far greater range of animals but they are wild so you can't get near them like you can at Knysna.

4 is fine. I went with my 2 year old. You are in your car most of the time, unless you are at a picnic spot. They do not allow kids under 12 on the game drives.
