This estate is worth visiting. The setting and set up is beautiful. Don't go for dinner, the prices are way over priced. Rather go for lunch. Tasting room is really nicely set up. Try the Angel Tears wine and read the moving story about the...More

My husband and I visited this place as part of the winetram tour. We had a long table in the gardens dedicated solely for the winetram clients - I suspect this was as much to keep from disrupting other guests with a large group as...More

We particularly enjoy a visit here to stroll in the sculpture garden and check out the gallery (both highly recommended).

A frequent traveller to Franschhoek (from overseas) - my favour lunch place is always the Grand Provence. The 3 course menu needs somes thinking about - but I'm always blown away by the detail, execution and most importantly the taste. The food is simply without...More

Very impressed when entering. Beautiful garden and art. Very disappointed by the service. Had to beg for a table. Took 30 minutes to place an order for oysters and else tasting. We left another 30 minutes later when still nothing had arrived.

Sadly the restaurant was fully booked and we opted for the wine tasting and platter option available in the garden. What a treat with one platter of cheese and the other of meat. This was far more imaginative than the norm, with various berries and...More

This was the last wine tasting we did on our trip - and from a win quality perspective was one of the best. However, it's also popular and it took a while to get served once seated and we continually had to ask for the...More

Amazing location, beautiful gardens and art work, however very disappointing wine experience. Arrival, no one to explain what was going on. Eventually herded to a table, still no explaination. Rushed tasting, good wine, but much better experiences elsewhere.

The estate is beatiful, with magnificent garden and art work! It really impresses visitors! We had lunch at the restaurant and it was good but the wine tasting on the other hand was awful. Firstly nobody even looked at us when we entered the room,...More

I would think reservations are needed in tasting room on a weekday. Meals in evening and weekends are typically booked. You will love this place.
