I took my boyfriend here on a date and man oh man was that a good idea, WE LOVED IT . Such a beautiful setting, when you're there you cannot believe your a stone throw away from the high way. The employees on the water are such humble and helpful people, helped me get on my feet, were full of... More

Blue rock is a beautiful venue. The water looks clean and there are many activities. Unfortunately this establishment rips it's customers off. You need to pay for enterance, the fee is not bad at all at R55. You are not allowed umbrellas, beverages (even water) but it is available for hire. Hiring shade is a rip off of R130 and... More

This place is a rip off from the moment you enter the main gates. You pay per person to enter, then you pay again to sit in a picnic spot, no chairs or tables under the shade so you have to pay to rent beanbags to sit on. You pay an exhorted amount to waterski/watersport for the day thank goodness... More

The food found here is Mediterranean and German in style. It satisfies a hungry tummy but the quality is nothing to write home about. Great place to spend the day though as there are many activities to do, just be aware that there is an entry fee to get to the 'restaurant.' The wine and drinks selection is standard. The... More

While I really love Blue Rock and will continue to visit it for its amazing swimming opps and all round clean fun. I have to say that not being able to take in your own non-alcoholic drinks can be a schlep. I often leave feeling dehydrated since a small bottle of water costs R15! Furthermore, you are not allowed to... More

We were highly recommended this place by a tour guide we had met. So worth a visit. Out teenage children had a ball on all the activities. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Gave us loads of advice on when to get there and plan our day. Waterskiing, Trip Wire, Kneeboarding and Rock Diving were excellent. Food and drinks were... More

A bunch of friends went to try out the water-ski at blue rock. At the gate we were asked an entrance fee. At Vergelegen I can understand it, but here? Really? My friends enjoyed the water-ski which worked well, but I refused to spend another cent for waterski or at the restaurant as I believe that it isn't an establishment... More

Nothing wow at all. Will only be enjoyed if you are visiting specifically for the water sport reason and nothing else.
