The USS Liberty Wreck is the most famous dive site in Bali. It is also one of the best sunken ship wrecks in the world! If you come to Bali, you absolutely have to dive there The liberty ship was hit by a Japanese torpedo then was beached near Tulamben. In 1963, the eruption of Mount Agung caused the vessel to slip off the beach, and it now lies on a sand slope in 9 to 30 m of water. The wreck is about 130 m long with the shallowest part at about 5 m deep and the deepest on the other side of the wreck at about 30 m deep.

Bumphead parrot fish, a turtle, morays, a shark, nudiebrances- we saw everything on our dive of the wreck. The visibility was awesome and the wreck itself is a cool place to explore. Would absolutely recommend this dive site.

Great place to dive, even for beginners. Usually the currents are not that strong. We dived with Dive Concepts, I can recommend only recommend them.

This ship wreck is massive! It looks more like a pile of debris than an actual ship. Is you have seen enough wrecks, you will be able to discern the different components of a ship. This is an easy dive since currents are mild to...More

This famous shipwreck is an excellent shorediving experience. Each dive is different since you never know what type of marine animals will show up. Easy shore entry, little current, and lots of great photo opportunities given the open architecture.

The wreck is broken up and there are some swim throughs. Early morning divers can see bumphead parrotfish. One of the best wreck dive experiences ever.
