We drove from Bangkok. And even before reaching korat, why not stop and relax here first and enjoy its beauty. The stunning view will definitely relax you.

If you drive /go here, then remember to bring your swimsuit... A LOT of turtles in the dam... in the end of the dam, where the outlet is placed. TAKE CARE in low water level !!! BIG stones under water surface !!! NO headjumps !!!

This is the very big and beautiful dam in Thailand. It is perfect scenery during the way to Northeast of Thailand.

The Lam Takhong Dam is a pleasant place to stop, stretch and relax, roughly mid-way between Bangkok to Nakhon Ratchasima. Nice view of the reservoir and dam, with several restaurants and snack shops.
