You must see if you love the old West!...It is not only Billy the Kids artifacts but a very extensive collection of artifacts from about 1860-1910. Covered wagons to very early cars to an extensive of guns and rifles to house whole goods.

Was driving down the highway to Albuquerque and saw the sign. The museum wasn’t open when I arrived but it was cool to see the grave.

We had debated about making a detour (we were headed for Lincoln and Roswell) and we are so glad we did! This museum is a treasure not only for Billy the Kid lore (we didn't realize how much of the history was about the Fort...More

We just completed an almost month-long trip to the southwest, and this was something my husband really wanted to do. This museum is owned by third generation family members who are incredibly knowledgeable about Billy the Kid -- definitely talk to them if you go....More

My husband and I visited here with his parents and my 18 month old as we were passing through to Clovis. The museum seems a little scattered at the beginning and the timeline of Billy's life didn't make much sense, however I would highly recommend...More

I don't remember exactly what the cost was, but it wasn't a lot. Michael G is probably correct on the price. we really had a great time there, much better than Roswell.
