This has the reputation of being a must see sight in Gallup; king of the trading posts. The original Mr. Richardson had just passed away shortly before we arrived, so we missed the experience of meeting him; but the stuff here is really incredible. No...More

This store is an institution and more towards the old fashioned side of shopping. Not many as many current Native American artists, but had good quality. I'm always looking for something different or a new artist that will eventually become popular, but they had more...More

This is a huge store with a remarkable amount of inventory. It's worth the visit just to see the variety of Indian art available.

Just love this place. The jewelry is outstanding. So much turquoise it's overwhelming. Staff friendly. A must see all the other Indian artifacts in the store. A must see in Gallup.

I didn't find this one to be as interesting as Perry null Trading. There wasn't as much merchandise and selection .

I bought my grandmother a silver cross to wear on a necklace. It had "turqoise" stones in it. I looked at their selection in the store. The lady showing me the options was not very friendly. She was kind of arrogant. She assured me they...More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Was this store ever called Tobin's back in the late '60's"? I bought a genuine Navajo rug and a roughly carved sandstone ashtray that said Tobin's Trading carved around the edge. The store was on the main drag (no freeway) and a stopover on our way to Zuni Pueblo. I cannot currently locate a Tobin's in Gallup.
