It may not be in the best condition (soft spots / plugged several times during our round) BUT, we always play this course when we are in Las Cruces. We can always get on without much of a wait. The price is right, the staff is nice, we enjoy the course. It has enough challenging holes to make it interesting.... More

Nice course design through a good subdivision with great views and very friendly staff. Lots of challenging holes that are not too close to the houses that surround the course. Course just needs TLC aka better maintenance with tee boxes full of weeds and scruffy areas in rough. Greens were very slow, but it could be because of impending aeration.... More

We played 18 holes on a Sunday afternoon when passing through Las Cruces. Reasonable rate of $62 for two people and a cart. Course is beautiful. Georgeous views of the Organ Mountains. Every hole had an even better view. We played as a twosome. The day was enjoyable as the course wasn't too crowded. Players were spaced out nicely. Challenging... More

Sonoma Ranch has a pretty nice golf course, the only complaint I have are the bunkers: hard dirt and gravel. Is there a special wedge for that? I know the course was designed for selling real estate in mind, but can't we maintain it a little bit?

Las cruces really does not have much to offer, but this course is nice. Built around a housing development. Challenging, but fair as they like to say. Well kept, good restaurant. We got a special, $45 with a cart. Nice restaurant, but service was slow and one of the hot food was delivered near cold. I'd play it again if... More

Now that the las cruces country club has bought the course. Good luck. Greens are terrible some type of fungus on the greens. Putting on your carpet at home is better. Hope they can make it

I've golfed at Sonoma many times and I really do like this course. It is a very fair golf course for women, but it still offers lots of challenge. The course is a typical desert course. It's not in perfect shape, but is good value for the money. The staff are also very nice and make me feel welcome. They... More

Great view and wonderful food. During the winter they have a fireplace in center of the restaurant, it's sits of the golf course, they have a room that you can enjoy the wonderful mountains.

spent a Friday evening here recently. grass was lovely. scenic. friendly-enough staff. I did have a bit of trouble finding a couple of tees though. maybe that's down to my inexperience, but still should be addressed for instances such as this

Great lunch. Excellent view of golf course. They have specialty sandwiches and food is great. Good service and value for a nice lunch.
