Cool place just wish it was open

It was fun to drive out of town and see the buildings. Too bad it is only open two days a month. I think it was still worth a quick detour. Do Google to learn its history.

Why be listed on the map and have the brown directional signs if you are not open for tourists to come? Very disappointed that we couldn't see this attraction except from the outside of the fence!

If you are into the old west history and ghost towns then this is a great place for you! The tour guide is very rich in knowledge of the history of the old mining town and the family that lived there. There are some buildings that still remain , and if those walls could talk , just imagine those tales!!!... More

We were disappointed that the ghost town was only open by appointment and specific days only. Drove down a dirt road off the beaten track and say a little - enough to take a few pictures and leave. Not sure we would have seen much more than that!

This would have been helpful information prior to arrival. The sign said special tours by calling the number. No are code though. After looking up the area code I called and the person seemed surprised to be getting a call. No tour since we couldn't stay in the area 14 days. There is a ghost town my wife and I... More

I rated it average since we couldn't take a tour. Only open 2 days a month is bad. Especially with us travelers. We past a couple cars that was coming and going from out of state to see. Wish we could of checked it out.

After we got to Lordsburg, we found a brochure with a schedule. It is open one weekend each month and they have tours at 10:00 and 2:00. Our stay in Lordsburg was not one of the days they were open.

This authentic ghost town is only open a few times a year. The best way to find out is to always visit the web site prior to making the journey. It is true to the old west, which means that buildings are in disarray, however, this also adds to the realism that one feels when taking the tour Our guide was a... More

We were really looking forward to this. Did some research online( but not trip advisor). Upon arrival we realized that the town is closed unless there is a scheduled tour. This was a stretch your leg stop. If we would have known that we needed to call ahead we would have. We climbed the hill to the left of the... More

It's ok but so much of it has not been restored properly. Even in it's present state it is ok. Lots of old stories about his time.
