We arrived at Bottomless Lakes State Park Near Roswell New Mexico. Wonderful large sites and beautiful park, only $14.00 a night including electricity, water and free wifi.

These sinkholes-turned-lakes are very interesting. Easy hiking is allowed next to and around the lakes to give you a beautiful view .

Our boys had a nice time preparing for Will's elopment. They spent the day hiking and talking. It brought us all back to good times as a family.

The Lake is beautiful.The campgrounds are ok. We stayed for 2days,and walked around the area.The showers were ok. We might go back sometime.Great for family camping.

We only had a short visit but this area was beautiful. The campground looked very nice. I bet the beach is great in the summer. They have a small but informative visitor center with restrooms. Make sure you wear bug spray, they definitely had mosquitoes....More

That's correct! Only grills so no campfires. It does take away from the camping experience...

Sorry, no there are no gift shops there. Across from the UFO museum is a very good one but it has mostly alien items. Your best bet is get as many pictures as you can. Go above the lake to the look out and that is the best... More

Yes they charge, As I recall it was in the neighborhood of $20. Given my wife's need to run an o2 machine we have to be where there is electric, so we generally end up paying more than someone able to dry camp.
