We just took a trip out to see what the area looked like. It was quite a way out from town and many would think not worth the trip "just to take a look." If you go there to stay in an RV for a...More

These sinkholes-turned-lakes are very interesting. Easy hiking is allowed next to and around the lakes to give you a beautiful view .

Our boys had a nice time preparing for Will's elopment. They spent the day hiking and talking. It brought us all back to good times as a family.

I'm from South Texas. The ONLY salt water I've ever seen is the Gulf. It's always murky and dark. So when my friend took me to Bottomless Lakes I stood in amazement staring down at my feet while I was waist deep in the water....More

This is located a bit outside of Roswell, NM, but it's a really pretty area. The "lakes" are apparently actually sinkholes ranging from 17 to 90 feet deep with a color that makes them appear bottomless. The campgrounds are quite nice --both tents and RVs...More

Yes they charge, As I recall it was in the neighborhood of $20. Given my wife's need to run an o2 machine we have to be where there is electric, so we generally end up paying more than someone able to dry camp.
