This is a beautiful theatre in the mountains outside of Ruidoso. The facilities inside are top notch and the productions are high quality. The theatre is not large so all of the seats are very good. It is a great location for concerts or theater.

The Spencer Theater is a non-profit organization whose patron Mrs. Spencer felt cowboys need culture, too. It is a beautiful theater and the people who run it bring wonderful entertainment both theatrical and musical to our small southwestern section of the world. The Ten Tenors,...More

Absolutely stunning, gorgeous, technologically advanced ... & it's part of Ruidoso. Wish the scheduled talent matched the facilities ... Sort of reminds me of the entertainment booked at the old dinner-playhouses. But, Ruidoso is kinda out-of-mainstream. Regardless, the facilities, dinners, drinks and entertainment combined offer...More

Beautiful facility. Not a bad seat in the house. My wife and I have made several weekend trips from Midland Texas to see shows at the Spencer. Nice weekend getaway!

No dress code is in place. Comfortable and clean but maybe a step above sleeveless tee shirts (for men) and short-shorts for women is what I would suggest. And definitely shoes.
