A perfect evening~not a poor seat in the house! Simply beautiful theater and the dinner is delicious should you choose to have the meal. Entertainers are "state of the art". Parking is no problem and the view inside and outside the Spencer is captivating. What an "enchanting evening!"

My great niece held her wedding rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception dinner here. Great venue for her wedding. Staff helped unload the decorations and helped set up the larger pieces. Charles, the director, was on hand to oversee the set up. Chiluly glass creations adorn the walls and lobby. This venue is also used for concerts and posters and signs... More

Great concert venue, beautiful views out over the high plains with the mountain background. Spencer was a big Dale Chihuly fan, there are some beautiful glass sculptures around the theater. Pretty good draw too, a lot more decent acts than you'd expect in such a small town

Saw Diamond Rio at the theater. Knew when we were going to be in area, so put my name on their mailing list. Diamond Rio was playing so I bought tickets when they went on sale. The ladies at the box office were so nice and helpful . The venue was beautiful. The seats were the best and so comfortable.... More

Highlight of our Ruidoso trip! Took the free tour on a Thursday morning (donations graciously accepted) and it was just amazing. Went for the Chihuly Glass and ended up thoroughly enjoying the tour. Love the walls where past performers signed notes to staff etc. Great staff!

Yes Chubby maybe getting older but still can put on a great show. We have attended many events at Spencer and most of them have been great.

With all the sophistication and excitement of Broadway, nestled in the bucolic setting of Ruidoso, this theater is a must see for anyone interested in quality entertainment. I've had the pleasure of seeing several performances at Spencer and have always been struck by the excellent seats (no matter where you are sitting, you have a great view), the diverse and... More

Have visted the Spencer Theater several times and it is really awesome. The Theater itself is a quite a sight coming out of Ruidoso and this work of art appears. The managment of the Theater do a great job pulling in multiple types of talent whose reach steps across generations. Our expierences here have been outstanding and at this welcoming... More

We attended a jazz performance and was impressed by the fantastic acoustics and great seating. There are no bad seats in the theater. The staff and patrons were friendly and there was room to dance in front of the stage. The performers encouraged everyone to enjoy themselves and dance to their music. The performance was preceded by a New Orleans... More

I did not see a show here, but toured the facility. It's out in the middle of nowhere, but is worth the drive. They offer tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00. It's a beautiful theater, and the tour takes you on stage, backstage, into the dressing rooms, through the kitchen, etc., and it's free. The tour takes a bit... More
