Beautiful statues. Love the accuracy of the different breeds. Easy walking paths between the statues. Benches to sit on with views of the horses.

Great stop and walk in the park like setting. The horses are beautiful. Amazing when you realize some of the statues are only supported by one anchor point of one leg -- neat structural engineering support system.

Fun to walk around and enjoy these beautiful sculptures. Be sure to read about each breed. And don't climb on the horses!

I took photos of every sculpture-beautiful depiction of many breeds. Nice landscaping and even though it was hot we enjoyed the walk.

We looked high and low for the museum of the horse until we finally suspected it had changed it's name to Hubbard's Museum of the American West.

Small museum, not open daily - call before going - brochures and website are wrong. Great collections of Western Americana plus a changing exhibit ADA compliant.Walking around "Free Spirits" alone is worth the trip. South on Rt 70 heading toward Tularosa.

This is next to the "Billy the Kid Museum" and the "Hubbard Museum of the West", both are really nice exhibits. Very nice lady in the "Billy the Kid Museum" helped us with several items and brochures and maps.
