Fun for beginners

We drove over 30 minutes and as soon as we get there at around 2:35 the man told us they weren't going to give us a tour because they didn't have enough horses and it was the last ride. They close at 3:00PM... We got there 30 minutes before closing time. He just said to go back the day after.... More

We had two teenage girls and an eight year old. We were all beginners. Was nervous about my eight year old, but they gave her the perfect horse. Trail was nice. Rained the whole time but they provided sturdy ponchos. Hour ride was perfect length. Least expensive ride we could find in the area at $25 per person. Guide was... More

This place was really hard to find if your not familiar with the area and dont have a map. When we finally found it we showed up a minute too late and had to wait an hour for the next tour but it was beautiful and the kids played in the creek so we didn't mind. The wranglers were so... More

We had two teenag teenagers and a 7yr old. At 25$ a person it was kind of expensive but a good experience for the kids. It's a good ways off of the beaten path but worth the drive.

Called early Saturday morning to schedule a ride. Talked with a friendly man. Scheduled for 10am. Waited around for 45 mins before horses were ready. The gentleman was not talkative at all. The women didn't say much. During the ride they yelled every time your horse tired to eat the grass. We took our two boys ages 13 and 10.... More

This place is off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. Don't count on GPS to get you there... Go to Bonito Lake and keep on going. Absolutely beautiful drive. The horses are healthy and clearly well taken care of. The one hour trail ride was just the right amount of time for our city slicker rear ends. The... More

Nice ride in a beautiful canyon along a stream. Our three year old rode with Mom. If you go in a winter snow four wheel drive is a big plus as you get near the stables.

About an 18 mile drive from Mechem and Sudderth down paved and unpaved roads and passes Lake Bonito. The drive itself is pretty, and the road ends at the stables. Don't arrive earlier than 10 AM or later than 3 PM. Riders head out on a first come, first served basis. They have a large variety of horse breeds, and... More
