Well restored, and apparently well-utilized mission. Definitely the high-point of architecture in Socorro. Grab some lunch in town and take the short walk to visit the mission.

We stopped here and it's a must see absolutely beautiful and very powerful, you are allowed in and can take pictures. So please if you are in the area you have to stop by you won't regret it, it's unforgettable, just be respectable

This place is 402 years old and lovely. Beautiful grounds with a memorial garden out in front. I'm glad I stopped by to see it. It's surrounded by mountains and a great spot to walk to/by.

On our way from Albuquerque to White Sands National Monument we decided to visit the Old San Miguel Mission in Socorro. The church is very well maintained and looks beautiful. There is no admission fee for the church. There is ample parking nearby which is free.
