My husband and I were driving from Santa Fe to Taos for the day. We called essential massage in the morning and we're lucky enough to get appointments for the late afternoon. The owner Kyoko couldn't have been nicer to deal with. I chose the river rocks massage. My therapist was Amelia. She was excellent at understanding my needs and... More

My wife and I had massages at Essential. I had Amelia for a hot stone massage and my wife had a massage and facial with Tulsi. I got free aroma therapy by mentioning Trip Advisor. Amelia has a very silky touch- she rotated between the stones and using just her hands. I've had hot stone before that was rougher- Amelia... More

I gave my Honey a gift certificate for a luxurious massage at home. He couldn't wait to get it scheduled. Sabrina arrived with her table and supplies; she set up quickly and went to work. My husband was a simple puddle of relaxation when she finished! Sabrina was thoughtful, very professional, and knew exactly what he needed.

I went in with severely bad back muscle pain and Kyoko immediately assessed the origin of the discomfort, worked on the muscles and really set me on the road to recovery. While I'm planning my next visit to Taos, I will book Kyoko for a massage before any other reservations. She is that good. Bravo to Kyoko!

My husband and I were in Angel Fire for a week, buried in snow. We escaped to Essential Massage of Taos. The therapists accommodated all four of us for 1.5 hours, gave us all different treatments and were EXCELLENT. We'll go back!

I have been having massages at Essential Massage for the last 5 years and in my opinion it is the best in Taos. With the recent addition of newly constructed massage rooms and lobby, Essential Massage offers excellent space for massage of singles and couples. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the ambience is conducive to relaxation and the therapists are... More

My husband and I celebrated my birthday in Taos and we saw great reviews for Essential Massage on Tripadvisor so made appointments (on Sunday - how nice they were so available). We're so glad we did! The environment is not traditional spa - it's clean and comfortable yet simple. Our therapists, Manuela and Amelia, were perfect and we left there... More
