The most impressive part of this museum is fechin's woodwork which is so incredible it must be seen to be believed. His portraits of wife and daughter are also very beautiful and there are all exhibits of local artists on display as well.

Amazing viewing of Fechin’s work in his art and his house. The wood working detail he used to build his house was as impressive as his paintings. High recommend the tour.

We were not familiar with Nicolai Fechin but we really enjoyed visiting his home. He was an amazing artist and his hand carved interior woodworking is extremely impressive. The gallery also features a few other artists, and is a beautiful display. Two thumbs up!!

I would highly recommend spending time in this museum which in part is the house of a Russian who relocated to Taos in 1927- very intriguing and interesting. I toured the museum buildings and watched the film about the "original 7" artists that founded the...More
