Very crowded, ran out of rentals. Ski school and lessons were booked up each day. They should plan for busy times and allow you to book lessons on line. What would it hurt? Then if you don't show up you forfeit the lessons and they re-book.

Wanted to try a new mountain while in New Mexico for hockey tournament. Definitely will go back. Mid sized mountain, great trails, NO CROWD even during Texas Spring Break. longest we waited in line was 1 minute, compared to next day in Angel Fire waited 20 minutes at times to get on lift. Cost was almost 1/3 of other Ski... More

I called for reservations to stay in their hotel-i travel with 2 dogs and a service dog. I asked for the manager to call me as the person refused to allow me to book a room because they consider the service dog a "pet" and they only allow 2 pets per room. No return call from manager. My husband and... More

They have an adequate variety of terrain, which makes the place feel bigger than it is. A short chair ride to the top is nice, and the upper mountain lift offers great tree skiing.

Yesterday was the first day I have ever skied Sipapu. Short lines and great snow. Groomed and un-groomed. The workers were so nice and it was a fantastic day.

Talk about being disconnected from the world! This place had no phone, no TV, no internet, I was surprised they had electricity. Our cabin had a little kitchenette with a stove, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, oven and tiny sink. They provided pots, pans, and utensils to cook with. But they did not provide paper towels, so we had to... More

I see why at first glance someone might recommend this ski area for beginners, but there are many places with better opportunities for practice. The practice hill is so small and so gentle that you can't really build any speed. The next jump up is a fairly steep hill, so beginners can't make the gradual progression. Nonetheless, one of our... The location is great and service is nice. The wifi was there and not great. I enjoyed the experience at the location and hope food gets better as time progresses.

Stopped here on our way to Las Vegas, NM from Taos. We refueled with drinks and snacks. The staff was laid-back and friendly. The little store inside had everything we needed to continue our road trip! I would love to come back and visit in the winter!

My first time and I will be back. If you are looking for a 3000 acre, 15 lift hill, this is not for you. BUT, it is inexpensive skiing/boarding on a very nice hill. Good variety of black, blue, and green trails; a couple terrain parks; some trees. Not many cruisers, but it was a very enjoyable experience for my... More
