Stayed for 2 nights in the Camping site. Most beautiful surroundings. The ablution block are clean but very primitive. The got staff during the day that keeps it clean. Tranquility all around. The reserve is worth driving around during the day. We went late afternoon and was rewarded with great animal live.

Also the birds are so special here, the Carmine bee-eater for instance flies in flocks around the car when driving through the marshes. We have seen lion cubs playing and wild dogs not mentioning lots and lots of elephants

This is one place I will definitely recommend - Chobe Game Lodge. Outstanding service rooms and food. The Game drives are also amazing

We were unsure of our guides experience, but it all turned out fine in the end. A particularly special treat was the viewing of a leopard hung over the branch of a big tree with its legs and tail hanging down in a totally relaxed position. Leopards are very hard to find. They are solitary and seclusive, so we got... More

We drove through part of Chobe Park and then stayed on a riverboat on the Chobe River. There were so many elephants that at one point, there were elephants in 180 degrees of our view. We were absolutely fascinated by the herds and how they interacted with each other. One of the highlights was seeing elephants swimming across the river.... More

We did a one day jeep and boat safari and they were both equally amazing. We saw so many animals and seeing them in their natural home was even more special. Our guide was fantastic and taught us so much. He even took us slightly off our set road because there had been leopard sightings. We didn't end up seeing... More

Savuti was very gorgeous! Beautiful nature, but we didn't saw so many animals. Our guide told us that it's not allowed to leave the roads, but then we saw the jeeps of a camera crew from National Geografpic. They were following the Marsh lions and were allowed to ride everywhere. Unfortunately we didn't saw the lions because they had hide... More
