We went to listen to a local historian speak. We could have listened all day. It was wonderful and only $5. They had a lunch served there but that would be cost more so we at at a local restaurant.

Interesting chandeliers in every room. Our docent, Dillon, did a good job of describing the house and its history. Unfortunately, very little of the original furnishing are remaining but they have attempted to get period pieces and acknowledge them.

This was wonderful. We had a private tour, got to see everything up close and ask lots of questions. Both the volunteers and docent were friendly, welcoming, and engaging. The custom woodwork was fascinating. Worth the time!

Phelps mansion.Beautiful is stepping back in time. I don't think a description would do it justice. Unfortunately I did not get to see any of the shows that are offered but will make sure I do so next time. Lovely staff with an incredible surroundings.
