This is an interesting piece of history. The house is well preserved and magnificent. We too had Joe as our guide and he was well informed and very willing to answer questions and to accommodate latecomers. Take the time to visit.

The Phelps Mansion was amazing. The woodwork in each room was magnificent. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the people who lived in the house and those who built the house.
