We visited Up Yonda farm in October, so the butterfly exhibit was closed - which we fully expected. There were no special programs that day, but we went on two most enjoyable hikes - one was in the woods and it leads to their sensory garden: a heaven for my youngest child who is autistic and has sensory issues. He... More

The property is very nice with a number of things to do and learn. Most fascinating to me was the Butterfly exhibit. There were hundreds of Butterflies flying.

We have a toddler and wanted to cut back on costs during a short trip while keeping her busy. This was inexpensive, fun and had plenty of sensory activities, coloring and books in the Museum, honey bees in the Auditorium, tad poles, frogs and plenty of easy trails.

Our family took a quick trip here during our recent visit to the Sagamore Hotel. Our two girls, ages five and 10, loved this place. We learned how to make maple syrup from trees, and took a very nice easy hike that ended with great views of Lake George. We also were able to see some frogs and butterflies on... More

Enjoyed walking the trails in the woods and the overlook of Lake George and the immediate mountains on a warm day. The crews were in full gear preparing for the summer children's educational program ... wonderful for the community and visitors.

We enjoyed a fun family hike with people from 4 to 60 years old. There are a couple of hiking trails for different levels of hikers.

fun outing which was informative and fun. Light walks through the woods, perfectly paced for our 2 1/2 and 4 year old grandkids.

Great local environmental center. Has a local museum and in fall a maple sugar house. It also has a few hiking trails that end with a magnificent view of the lake and mountains.

We took our two year old to visit the farm and she was delighted the entire time. The pond is full of toads, which she loved. The butterfly garden was beautiful. The children's sensory garden was the best part, though. From musical instruments to tea parties to searching for fossils, we were all very impressed and spent at least an... More

A really great unexpected place. Beautiful trails that weren't too strenuous and at the end an amazing hill-top view of Lake George. It was a welcomed, extremely peaceful break from the beach vacation hubbub
