Nice place.

Music, horse rescue farm with tours. Nice wines. Laid back. Fun. Easy from eastern Long Island and Long Island Expressway.

Spent a nice couple hours on an unexpected February afternoon with a group of friends. The place was over flowing with wine drinkers anxious to spend the day outside. Plenty of parking, plenty of tables, though you might have to pull one down. Indoor purchase of wine was quick and easy. We bought our own cheeses and crackers and cold... More

We loved visiting on a Friday autumn afternoon! Our favorite part was that many of the wines were named after the horses at the rescue farm on the Batting Hollow Vineyard premises. The staff was friendly and kind. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas. The overall feel of the place is warm and welcoming!

Visited here recently on a wine tour. We spend a great deal of time on the North Fork, and I'm familiar with many of the wineries. I had never been here before....and I doubt that I will ever return. The facility itself is quite nice, and also quite large. Yes...I know that the people that work in these wineries don't... More

About 2PM this past Sunday, we went there after being disappointed by the lack of anything going on at the winery just to the west. Wondered if this place would be as empty and devoid of music, people, etc. SURPRISE! When we pulled in the place was packed outside! A great band playing, tons of people of all ages from... More

We visited this vineyard for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. There music was really good and so was the wine. The place has a very lively atmosphere so prepare to have fun. If your looking for an intimate quiet setting this is not the place. The only drawback was the food. Incredibly overpriced for cold sandwiches. We paid... More

I was not the only visitor disappointed to not get to see the horses when I visited on a week day, so I just wanted to make sure people know this upfront. Many people showed up with kids in tow hoping to see the horses, so I am assuming you would expect to find lots of families all the time... More

This horse rescue site turned winery is amazing. Live music, great local foods and vendors, horses, and wine. Perfect saturday afternoon for the whole family.

We always are sure to stop there as they have great classic rock and folk bands. Wine sales helps save the horses on the farm. They have farm tours and pony rides. There's a good crowd as well. If you want quiet and quaint this may not be for you.

Baiting Hollow is not near the other popular Long Island wineries but worth the trip. The wine tasting room is upscale has a nice menu of snacks as well as a good souvenir shop. There is live entertainment on the weekends and the parking is ample. The special attraction here is the horse rescue farm and barns. Be sure to... More
