Spent many hours on the beach, lovely and clean and water actually quite warm even in the evening. Boys enjoyed building a boat with the sand and paddling at 8 pm in warm sea. Even seen several horses galloping along in the water.

spent ages on the sandy beach (too muddy to get to the sea when the tide is out and very dangerous) miles of nature walks at the back with plenty of wildlife

We walked through the dunes and onto the beach early in the morning. Not a soul in sight apart from a lone dog walker. It was windy but we came away feeling invigerated and windswept. Best out of season.
