This has to be one of the better designed parks which is very accessible for hikers and drivers. We did both. It is also one of the best state parks in the country for which it won a national award. There are lots of bathrooms, picnic tables (many made from stone), and a scenic restaurant by the main fall. The... More

We visited Letchworth in April (before the regular season) and really enjoyed not having a lot of crowds, etc. The falls are very amazing - was able to get very close to the lower and middle falls and had great photo opportunities. The path to the upper was closed for maintenance, but will definitely visit next time we are in... More

This is a great place to visit. The park is vast, so you need to choose which part you want to see. We visited the falls, and even after just having been to Niagara they are still worth a visit.

I haven't been in as while, as I live to far away, but it is always a favorite stop when I am nearby. The beautiful gorge, 3 waterfalls, lots of hiking trails, a HUGE craft show (usually Columbus weekend), camping or cabins on site, canoe / kayak, several gorgeous overlooks, event pavilions, restaurant on site, underwater caving (if you know... I used to only go camping at allegany state park, until I found out about letchworth about two years ago. I love camping here. There are a lot of hiking trails and you can take many beautiful pictures there.

Grew up in this area and Letchworth is on our yearly must do list. Great hiking trails, nice museum, and picturesque views. A great place to spend a day exploring and picnicking. The hike down to the lower falls is well worth it! If you're into adventure, book a trip down the gorge in whitewater rafts or take a balloon... More

This beautiful park is worth the trip at any time of year. I had the pleasure of visiting in the summer for the first time in forever and was not disappointed! The trails, scenery, waterfalls, all make for a wonderful outing. This is a must see!!

The park was close when we visited so we didn't have to pay the $10 entrance fee but we couldn't drive all the way to the walls or the Glen Iris Inn. There is still a lot of good hiking trails in the north part of the park. Well worth a visit any time of year.
