All Musicals, All Summer! Acclaimed professional theatre, presenting classic and contemporary musicals in a charming, unique theatre-in-the-round setting since 1969. Talented professional performers, wonderful singing, dazzling dancing, lots of laughs = exciting fun for all ages in standard favorite and delightful new musicals. Youngsters and parents alike giggle and gasp at original musicals for ‘children of all ages’. The audience says: "Wonderful entertainment", "Fabulous job!", "Love your shows", "…truly outstanding…Kudos!". Mid May through mid September.

We have lived in Upstate NY in the summer for decades, but had never availed ourselves of the Mac Hayden's productions, I guess, basically because there is SO much summer theater to choose from in our area. Anyway, we just saw the old Broadway show...More

Thank you so much for your kind words - we're so glad you enjoyed the show! There are many people like yourselves, who live nearby but have never come to our shows, and we always wonder why. It is true that seating takes longer on...More

Love this theater basically in the round. It is small and intimate and the audience surrounds the stage on all sides. Today's Sunday afternoon performance of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels was outstanding with Broadway quality acting. This is only my second time to find tickets as...More

Thank you so much, Judy! Glad you enjoyed the show - it is so very funny. Becoming a season subscriber is a good idea: you save some money, you can have the same seats for every performance and express seating through the subscriber's entrance, plus...More

Great performance in a unique intimate setting. Seating is around a central stage. Patrons are close to performers. Saturday night coffee house with singing and homemade desserts.

We have been going to Mac-Haydn productions for over forty years. Although some plays turn out better than others, it is never due to a lack of talent or enthusiasm on the part of the actors and crew. Three generations of our family have enjoyed...More

It's been a while since I've been to the Mac-Haydn, but it really needs to be refreshed. Stale. Dark. Bad sound. Sorry, just can't recommend this for the price of the tickets.More

Hello, Allison, We are sorry that your Mac-Haydn experience was not up to your expectations. You mention that it's been a while since you've been to a show with us, so I can't speak to exactly what might have been issues when you attended. However,...More

The most important thing to know is that the productions are absolutely first rate. This is no standard community theatre and I always feel that the actors are just taking a vacation from their Broadway shows. They are top-notch! It's a theatre in the round,...More
